It was a day that I need to go into the gallery itself in Nottingham that it has been built and opened in November 2009. It was quite a nice gallery and I really enjoyed when I was there. I was looking at David Hockney's exhibition because I needed to do it for my next project with Winter and need to choose two colours and work with them to paint some imagery and for design development.
I met up with Anne and Hayley from college to have a good catch up and also to visit the gallery for the very first time especially mines and Hayley's. It was a fantastic day with them and it was some surprises such as my uni mates: Cassie, Leanne and Rachel, also Nicola from school and Carolynn and Philippa with their Year 1 group that was a pleasant sight! I was like... wow! A fantastic day!
Anne taught me so much things in the past that men having sex with other men was illegal until 1967 or 1968 something like that it was legal and they used the word, "QUEER" at the time if men were homosexual and "gay" used to be happy. It was like wow! And I did not know about David Hockney's sexuality until I seen his drawings of his Marriage collection of gay men and it has a meaning behind it and also I did not know that he kinds of liking Cliff Richard, I was so shocked that he was good looking (Cliff Richard).
